Anyone having some really weird dreams lately?

Buddy of mine is a counselor. He says dreams "compartmentalize" our stresses and is our bodies way of dealing with stress. Bad news: he says alcohol consumption basically shuts that process down

I love to sleep. No problem drifting off and out of this world of corruption and deceit. As soon as my head hits the pillow I'm gone. Not a worry in the world.

My dreams either involve some task, usually in college, that I have not finished or some fight. I’m actually concerned because of the violence in my dreams. Usually there’s someone in my dreams that is an impediment to what I need to do and I wind up in a fight. But the fights are graphic and violent. In one, I stabbed a guy’s hand to a table and beat him when he couldn’t move. In another I was in a pit and I kept kicking someone in the head. Blood was coming out the guys ears and nose and mouth.

I’ve been taking melatonin to help me sleep and I hear that can make for graphic dreams. I hope that’s it because dreams of such senseless violence concern me.

When I dream, I'm usually a porn star at work and after work I'm trying to bring wars and conflict to a end. Nobel Peace Prize type stuff. Then I wake up and realize that I'm in a world of ****, a.k.a. reality.

I have a recurring dream that I've been enrolled in a class for 3/4 of the semester without ever having attended. It's been going on for over 15 years.

At least I don't get sleep paralysis anymore.

I had that dream all through graduate school and it was miserable.

Now I teach in the same program and have dreams that I teach the classes but have never attended until 3/4 of the way through the semester. Kill me now.

wierd dreams now, problems sleeping? yep, for the last 4-5 days, so today i went to lay down and watch some Mandalorian, at about 2pm, woke up it was 6:30 pm. Felt damn good after getting about 5 hours the last few days.

I have very vivid dreams in color; nearly everyone has a face and I see people I do not know in my dreams along with family and friends; I have several themes that have frequently including golf, rooms, water, my old house I grew up in; I rarely have had a bad dream in my life; my dreams are very disjointed on topics and jump around a lot; I am afraid to share my dreams as they are ****ed up and I don't want men in white coats coming to get me.

I can't bring people into my dream but if I create a sxene sometimes they come in. Unfortunately I can never get hot girls but if I create my grandma or grandpa's I can get them in dreams even though they dead
