Also, would a fried channel allow the head unit to power itself on and cause the white noise? I’m still getting sound from every speaker, or I was when the unit powered on.

I would recommend chasing like any parasitic draw. Disconnect your negative cable. With a test light or amp meter check to see if there is a draw then remove fuses until you don't have a draw. Obviously start with the radio fuse first.
You don't want to chase ghosts, narrow the search first but I agree that you may have smoked the head unit or possibly have polarity reversed on your speakers. |

Have you tried to disconnect the battery to reset the system?

I unplugged the head unit this morning and I’m still getting white noise from my back speakers... however there were no plugs going into the back of the head unit whatsoever, so in theory those wires shouldn’t be connected to anything. There’s gotta be an amp in there somewhere, right?

I'd go into the trunk on the right side and unplug the amp if there is one. See if the noise stops.
That stereo goes into the can system IIRC . You can cause all kinds of problems if you shorted something there I'd think. |

I just looked back through my warranty stuff and they actually had to replace the factory amp after unplugging the sub kit because it fried the RF speaker channel

Why’d you replace the speakers to begin with?

I had a Phoenix Gold ZX450 amp do the same thing you are describing. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was for a few hours, ended up being a bad potentiometer (the little thing that adjusts the gain). This was a factory fresh amp mind you. |
