There is zero chance the Bills are awarded a win via forfeit. They’ll play the game Monday and move KC vs Bills to Saturday or reschedule Bills vs Titans to the as of now fictitious week 18

Forfeits would be a disaster. They simply cannot do that.

I think that is what happens. I do believe that any games they can't schedule around...they'll add an extra week at the end of the season.

NFLPA will never allow a forfeit, that's just not going to be an option. According to what I just read on Arrowhead Pride, if a team forfeits (for example TEN this weekend vs. BUF), THEN BOTH TEAMS WOULD NOT GET PAID.

Clearly then BUF players would never accept a forfeit either. So we can put that idea to bed.

If they decide to punish TEN for violating protocols, it'll be in the form of fines/loss of draft picks/whatever, but it won't be by forcing them to forfeit a game.

A bye week for the Bills would be bullshit too. We have a short week and they get an extra long week.

As I said before, things being unfair is better than no season at all. It’s just part of what this season is.

I disagree, depending on the definition of "unfair".

If teams get automatic wins or losses, we'd be better off not having a season.

If we have 3-4 weeks added onto the season where some teams play and teams that earned their way to playoffs have to sit idle for a month, we'd be better off not having a season.

If we have teams playing on 5 days rest instead of 7, then we're better off having a season.
