I did a thing and bought my first truck

As the title says, I bought my first truck ever yesterday. I've always had cars due to cost, fuel economy, etc etc and I've always wanted a truck but they can be GD expensive. I had been looking for a while and finally just bit the bullet and went for it.

2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn

Anyways, I don't have a lot of friends to share it with and stuff so I figured I would share it here.

GM hasn't put a decent interior in a vehicle in 30 years.

But the GM exterior takes everything sharp about the Chevy's and puts a legitimately excellent nose on it. They're beautiful pickups. But I spend most of my time around my truck looking at the inside of it, not the outside. So for me it's all about interiors. And man oh man, the interior of these new Rams is just tits. It's a Mercedes with a bed on it in there.
I actually had a Denali tester in my garage for two days before I got my loaded Lariat a few years back. Totally agree about the interior, but have you seen what they’re doing in the 2022s? Complete overhaul and it looks slick! Maybe I should go sit in a Ram…I’ve never actually driven one.

Side note: I actually think the Sierra is the best looking truck on the road. I’ve been eyeing the 22’s coming out in the spring with the refreshed interior. The 3.0 Duramax looks appealing but I’ve never had a diesel. Anyone have any experience with the newer GMC Diesel engine?
I am thinking about buying one to try out for employees. I have a cousin that owns one and he loves it. Amazing fuel mileage, smooth ride. I own a 2020 2500 diesel and they are a different animal than the 1500s.

I'm a minimalist and the interior doesn't bother me. It's a ****ing Denali FFS.

The auto-drive assist is something I've been waiting on for a while. Mileage wise I'll be ready to trade in about 6 months........

Just remember you don’t really have a 4x4 unless you have lockers on the diffs.

Man not for me as I've worked out of Suburbans and pickups for 40 years plus.

When I'm not on the road working I drive the biggest sedan with the smoothest ride I can afford. My work truck is just a tool.
