Exactly. We watched the Chiefs get bent over and sodomized by the refs for 40 years and all anyone could say was "The great teams overcome bad officiating hur dur!". This game didn't have bad officiating either. I don't get where that is coming from. There were some borderline missed calls and ticky tack calls on both teams. Like any game that's ever been played. The only call that helped decide the game was the late hit on Mahomes and that was blatant.

But **** the Chiefs so let's do SOMETHING about something. When we lost to the Patriots in OT without touching the ball, everyone said "Welp! Gotta learn to play defense I guess!" but then the Bills lose to the Chiefs the exact same way and it's "These rules HAVE to change right now! They aren't fair!"

**** every other team in this league. I hope the Chiefs win the next 20 Super Bowls while they whine and cry about the rules and the refs the entire time.

Get ****ed Quinn. Dude is just jealous that he never made it in the NFL.

And this is coming from an Irish fan who used to love watching him play in college.

Do you remember all the articles, videos, etc. all over social media after that one?

Or the SB against the Bucs?

Me neither.

Of course not. Just polishing off Brady and talking about how he's the best-est. KC actually tried to get the OT rule changed, but far too many were against it until KC benefitted from it and THEN it's a problem. They say the refs rigged the game in favor of KC while ignoring having a ref so enamored with Brady that she names her kid after him in a SB featuring him. Imagine the outrage if that happened with Mahomes.

The DPI no-call in the Rams-Saints game, which was far worse somehow.

That’s honestly the most egregious thing I’ve ever seen in the NFL.

Agreed.

At least the calls like the Dez Bryant and Calvin Johnson no-catches as well as many of the RTP calls we've seen (like the one called on Chris Jones vs the Raiders this season) had some sort of rulebook backing.. that DPI no-call was just insane. You have to call that. And they just didn't.

No doubt. That wasn't one of those easily missed calls. That was so obvious that there was no way they don't call it unless they purposely choose not to.

There's been no bad/no call worse than "forward progress". And there was no conversation around the league or media afterwards

I rank it #2 behind the forward progress call in the Chiefs-Titans playoff game.
