It has finally happened that John Elway will no longer be a part of the Denver Broncos after hos 27 years as player, GM and Dir of Operations.

Wish he would be sticking around and making more horrible decisions but it was not meant to be.

My biggest Denver PTSD experience is being there for the MNF DT meltdown game where Bubby Brister ran a bootleg for a TD and dissected the Chiefs defense in Elway's absence.

Bubby Brister is the real bogeyman.

One of my favorite elway plays happened later in his career. Does anyone else remember this gem from the worst clutch quarterback ever?

It was late in the game and the Chiefs were up by less than seven. The broncos had move the ball (probably by running since elway sucks) down to about the Chiefs 20 or so. They had time for one more play. elway took the snap, fled the rush to the right sideline, and then threw the ball! But since he was a choker it slipped out of his hand and fluttered out of bounds. It may have even traveled backwards, but I think it went a couple of yards forward. It was a terrible play by a subpar quarterback.
