About to head into surgery
So...started having pretty severe pains last night and considered going to the ER....I knew I had a Dr appointment today so I decided to wait. My doctor sends me to the ER, and now I am waiting for surgery on some kidney stones....


Looking forward to getting this over with.

Could use some prayers if you are the praying type...

Appreciate the prayers. Out of the initial procedure...some discomfort but nothing compare to the stones. They couldn't break the up because I had an infection and they didn't want me to get sepsis.

Nephrostomy tube, eh? Good news/bad news situation. I presume you were scoped and when he put that wire up into the ureter, slipped it past the stone, it just drained some seriously prurient fluid/pus? You’ll drain that shit out quicker with the tube and help heal the kidney.

Just a stent for the first surgery? Probably have to wait a week or 10 days for the next?
