I disagree with this. He's most definitely feeling it. I'm sure I wouldn't have liked him much back when the Donx were winning, but I firmly believe he dies inside a little each time they lose. The close losses especially really get to him.

Also, while I do respect Miami's offense a lot, I think the massive score was as much the result of a not very good high altitude team playing in a hot and humid as **** coastal city than the Dolphins being an unstoppable juggernaut. That is a massive advantage that slowly goes away as the season progresses. Denver's defense was completely gassed and rendered useless as the game wore on. Had this game been played in Denver, or later in the season when conditions weren't so brutal, Miami still would have won by a good margin, but not by 50.

And let's not forget that Tua is at all times one hard hit away from being a drooling vegetable.

I like Perna but this is definitely why I have no sympathy for Denver fans. It's been like 7 years of this woe is me bullshit when so many other teams are bad for decades. I'm a Raiders fan, aside from a couple spots my favorite team has been bad since I was a minor, get in ****ing line. Accept your team is now a bad team and knock off the pity party.

If there was ever a game to just wave the white flag on and end early it was that one.
The play by play summary is nuts... I'd expect multiple defensive touchdowns, several short fields, a special teams score.

And that didn't really happen... the Broncos did have three turnovers and the Phins had two really short fields and a couple more ~50-60 yard drives. But, that's not crazy abnormal or anything... the 720 yards though.

It's interesting. As a Husker fan, this is where I am, but it took me quite a few years to just accept that the Huskers are a shell of themselves and if we are to get better, it's gonna be years for that to happen. IF. There's a good chance that the program is perma-broken and we will NEVER see the kind of success we had back in the day.

The Donk fans are coming to this realization. There is a generation that is in Elementary school soon to be Jr. High that don't remember the Chiefs ever losing to the Donks. It is dawning on many that the organization itself is the problem, and what can they do about that? Nada. They are quickly becoming the Browns, Jets or Texans.

It's glorious.

I get it. In this case I wanted to get to really drink in the Broncos utter humiliation. He breaks down just how horrific they were so thoroughly that his schtick can't ruin it.

It is fun, though. As I've said many times, his pain completes me.

The guy has seen the Broncos win three Super Bowls in his life. I’ve only seen two (so far) for the Chiefs.

The Broncos were rarely bad before 2015. He just wants respectable? He had that. And the highest highs. Three times.

It’s his turn to experience franchise turmoil. Until he understands what that means, he’s a loathsome ****

Yeah, they should be glad the Manning corpse idea worked or else they'd be looking at 17 straight seasons of irrelevance.

It also gave them their only legitimate Super Bowl victory, and cemented Manning's legacy as the greatest Broncos QB of all time.
