That said, if they make the playoffs, they're probably first round casualties. I saw all this coming 4 years ago. Build up one side of the ball at the expense of the other, and you get .500. Right now, DV is 27-24 as KC head coach. About where Cunningham was, below Schottenheimer.

9-7, beat Denver at home, lose to ________________ in the first round.

I'll take the bold position that the Chiefs finish 8-8....and we go ANOTHER season without a playoff win...

10-6.

If our coaches start pulling their collective heads outta their asses, we'll start winning games.

I like this guess so I'll adopt it. 10-6 it is.

9-7.

Its going to hurt for a few more games, but they'l get it rolling.

Losses to come include balt, Indy, NE, Tenn.

Jax is due for a bad game and isn't scoring enough points to win consistently, Atlanta doesn't have a great running game or a defense, Tampa looks like crap, NO is beatable, Sandy Eggo, Oakland and Denver at Home are very winnable games if the Chiefs can get it together.

Well this year we have a real schedule with teams that don't suck. Time to take off the rose colored glasses that we had on all last season and suck it up.

Regular Season
L 24 - 34 9/12/2004 at Denver 7:30 PM ESPN+
L 17 - 28 9/19/2004 Carolina Panthers 12:00 PM FOX
L 21 - 24 9/26/2004 Houston Texans 12:00 PM CBS
L 14 - 28 10/4/2004 at Baltimore Ravens 8:00 PM ABC+

Bye Carl Peterson gets arrested for Massive Drug Circle Conspiracy 10/10/2004

L 6 - 7 10/17/2004 at Jacksonville Jaguars 12:00 PM CBS
L 28 - 35 10/24/2004 Atlanta Falcons 12:00 PM FOX (Vick Runs wild all over our def because of over persuing and being too agressive)

L 55 - 77 10/31/2004 Indianapolis Colts 12:00 PM CBS
W 28 - 14 11/7/2004 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 12:00 PM CBS
W 35 - 28 11/14/2004 at New Orleans Saints 12:00 PM CBS
L 7 - 24 11/22/2004 New England Patriots 8:00 PM ABC+
W 31 - 21 11/28/2004 San Diego Chargers 12:00 PM CBS
W 27 - 17 12/5/2004 at Oakland 3:05 PM CBS
L 17 - 42 12/13/2004 at Tennessee Titans 8:00 PM ABC+
W 28 - 17 12/19/2004 Denver 3:15 PM CBS+
W 35 - 17 12/25/2004 Oakland 4:00 PM CBS+
W 31 - 10 1/2/2005 at San Diego Chargers 3:15 PM CBS

So we go from a 13-3 team to a 7-9. Chiefs def will average 26.4 points per game however the offense will drop in scoring. All of the off field gambling, drug and sex scandles will have been a major destraction. In a court of law the Chiefs will have to change their name because its suposedly racist and therefor will become the . Dante Hall will no longer be known as the X Factor but instead will have to call himself the Iron Chef. All of the fans will wear giant Chef hats in the crowd. Other then that the future is kinda fuzzy.

Re: Atlanta...

if we can't stop a bootleg, how are we gonna handle Vick? I don't see a way we can beat them unless we have a LB playing spy at all times...

Saul...........I really considered Vick, and the Bootleg.

It still pisses me off a little...............check that........Alot...........that in his re-hire press conference, Gunther specifically pointed out that "THAT" play would NOT happen vs his defense.

Yeah our defense will be constantly be flushing Vick out of the pocket which could be a bad thing.
