****Official Weight Loss and Exercise Thread****
I know that TinyE has the CP Weight Loss Challenge thread, but this is a new beginning for me. No losing weight for prizes, as that motivation ended on July 1st. This time I'm doing it for me. My goal is 75 lbs. Slow and steady wins the race. This time, the prize will be a whole new me.

Anyone else still battling the bulge? Here, hopefully, you can find more encouragement and tips on diet and exercise. Feel free to talk about discouragements, setbacks, frustrations, etc as well. We're here to help...at least I am.

I have lost 80 lbs since February, but have slacked off the last two months.

I am back at it again.

Overall, with losing, gaining, losing, gaining....I'm down 25 lbs for the year....so far. I want to see how much I can get off the last two months of the year.

Winter blues will not get me down. No excuses.

Never fell off the wagon. I didn't lose the weight for prizes but I'd like to not drop dead of a heart attack at 62. Cuz, I think that would suck.

Down 63 lbs of flubber since January 1st. Still no cheating.

I am no longer dieting. I have permanently changed my eating habits.

didn't really go on a diet. heart burn every afternoon was driving me nuts.

i quit eating lunch at local cafes when at work, having burgers, tenderloins, fries, chip, etc. instead, i started taking my lunch. turkey sammie on whole grain bread, and fruit(grapes, plums, etc)

lost 12 lbs in the last couple months, without really trying. still eat the same for supper. best part is i've really been feeling great.

only bad thing is, this was the wifes idea, and now i'm hearing "i told you so" constantly.
