***OFFICIAL head coaching search thread***

So who are we going to bring in to replace Haley?

Who do you like? Do you want experienced candidates? Someone fresh and young?

Potential candidates:

Jeff Fisher
Kirk Ferentz
Josh McDaniels
Marty Schottenheimer
Mike Zimmer
Andy Reid
Jay Gruden
Rick Dennison
Todd Bowles
Rob Ryan
Dom Capers
Brian Billick
Jon Gruden
Pepper Johnson
Kevin Gilbride

NEWS

Nick Wright: Pioli believes McDaniels isn't a viable option, and Fisher is but won't offer Jeff big bucks is the bad news

"Continuity" of what? A mediocre, Carl Peterson-like run of teams not built to compete in the playoffs?

What exactly does the "continuity" crowd want to continue by keeping a loser like Romeo as HC?

5 SB rings. Yeah, how many does Fisher have?? What's that? 0? Ok, let's be fair, how many does he have even as an assistant? What's that? 1? And that wasn't even as a coordinator. He was Buddy Ryan's bitch.

Fisher's defenses were about as awesome as Romeo's.

Switch quarterbacks and he'd have plenty o bling.

But again, this really has no relevance to their abilities as head coaches.

I am not taking at shot at you when I ask this:

What caused you to go into all-out angry mode? Just curious since I haven't noticed the fury until recently.

Pete Jizz on the other hand, wants to link every Super Bowl winning team Romeo was a part of (even though he wasn't the HC for any of those teams) to Romeo's credentials as a HEAD COACH.

The fact that Fisher hasn't won a SB is a plus.

Coaches do not win Super Bowls with multiple franchises.

It really doesn't matter who we have on the sidelines if we keep using shitty QBs.

Yeah, because there is this thing called experience. And being a part of 5 SB winning teams is what most educated people would consider good experience.

You can have a coach who has spent most of his career on winning teams or most of his career on an average team.

Tell me why a short-term hire is good for this team at this time.

Tell me why.
