Bills/ Bengals [cancelled - process in OP]

In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

The Bills helped set it in motion though, mostly due to what seems like the NFL having no plan at all.

If the Bills were never given any potential consequences of not playing, then why choose to play? They risk the NFL deciding their fate harshly, yet they still don't have to risk injury or short weeks or anything in the process.

It's not like they're lacking self awareness when it comes to the up/down sides of playing.

Just go to the Bengals message board, they are on fire about not demanding the game be played when Damar had been stabilized...

That being said, it is beyond ridiculous to say that because Cinci had “momentum” in the first half of the FIRST QUARTER that they were going to win.

This is a Cinci team that just last week needed a redzone fumble with one minute left against MAC JONES after going up 18-0 on the Patriots. They brutalized the Patriots in the first half and then fell apart in the second. We just don’t know what would have happened in that Bills-Cinci game and the first half of the first quarter doesn’t tell how us how it would have ended.
I see you answered the first part and ignored the second part of my response.

So I'm just gonna assume you're okay with last minute arbitrary rule changes by the NFL (as long as it benefits your team, of course).

Arrowhead is fairly flat, as are most college venues I've been to. They 'fan' out and give a good view.

Nashville didn't. The nearest college equivalent I can think of would've been Georgia.

It's just a much different feel than any other football stadium I've been in. I can't say I've been in 50 of them or anything, but I've been in a couple dozen pro and/or major college stadiums and Nashville's was the worst, IMO.

I just didn't care for how they configured it at all.

Putting the AFC Championship Game at an iconic venue such as the Rose Bowl would be cool, although the infrastructure for that stadium is decrepit.

The Bills watched a team mates life saved, not his death. They should have played Tuesday night, worse case Wednesday. They knew this, but they also knew the chance of loss was quite high with the injuries they had suffered.
True, we know that now. But no one knew that then. On the field, in that moment, players saw their teammate have his jersey and pads ripped up, a defibrillator put on his chest, and shocked back to life. They watched CPR for 9 minutes. No player on that field was even alive the last time a player died on the field. It was traumatic. For both teams. And as the ambulance left that field, no one knew whether he would live or die.

Interesting... that's how I read 'severe', but typically that helps viewing, so I was confused.

I remember going to the new Busch for the first time and seeing how flat it was compared to the K... didn't seem to impact where I was sitting, but felt like the K was straight up in comparison (and of course it doesn't matter as much for baseball).

Not sure how you can ask that if you read my post. Did you read the entire first paragraph that answers that question?

Steep viewing is typically better than fanning out.

Newer stadiums are all using steeper viewing for better sight lines.

Think Plaster here at MIssouri State is a good venue for it if it comes to that.

That’s why they get paid the big bucks. They’re gladiators who sing and dance for our pleasure. If they don’t like it, they can find another job. **** the Bills.

Yes, but they knew he was stabilized a few hours later, and he was already improving on Tuesday... The more you think about it, the NFL rules should have applied even if he would have died. Resume the game per the current rules. I respect the Bills if they would have chosen not to play and receive a forfeit, but my guess is they would have played for Lamar, just like they are getting back on the field in 2 days...
