I say go for it. This is like a one time shot for Scott and Clark. It's worth the risk.

You definitely could add 5 dollars to parking. People would pay it.

You could add money to anything, for Manning, people are gonna pay it.

If we sign Manning, expect rape prices for everything that has to do with the Chiefs. They'll start selling beer in shot glasses and charge $20 each.

O.City, I wonder if Clark really did what I said a few months ago.

Remember?

Remember Manning started his career in the AFC East. I'm not certain there's anything keeping him from going back. I'm not sure he's going to pick a team because their division is weak. I could kind of see Archie wanting him to avoid Eli's division. But he would have a lot to gain by going to the Jets or Miami. The hype around the Brady/Manning meetings would be off the charts every year... all kinds of publicity, endorsements, etc. Or if both Mannings were in NY... there would be a ton of hype around that too.

And people would pay for it. It's a no-brainer decision. The only question is will we woo him enough to come here? Can Crennel, Scott and Clark sell KC to him?

(that is if we even go after him)

I wonder how many front office guys of ours are at Arrowhead right now, working the phones trying to set up a workout.

I honestly believe if KC went after Manning hard we would be the front-runner. The question is will we do that. You know that between MIA/WAS/NYJ/ARI atleast one of them, most likely more, will go after him HARD. Would Manning come here if a team went all in for him and we weren't pursuing as hard?

Yeah nowadays it's more about what makes sense money and media wise, not the team or how you fit in best with them. Exposure. I know Manning coming to KC wouldn't make any less of a boner for him, but a place like NY, DC or Miami would be better media frenzies for him for the rivals he'd face and the cities. We'll see.

If Manning goes to Miami, he has a real chance of missing the playoffs.

Same goes for the Jets.
