Heat are down 3-0 in this series without LeBron. They're going to need much more than a one-man show of hero ball out of him if they are to beat a team as good as the Spurs in seven games, though. This isn't the inexperienced OKC Thunder like last year. Everybody has to show up.

The Spurs probably have the best international scouting staff in the NBA. Just look at how many of their players have experience playing overseas before the Spurs brought them in.

LeBron has not been good at all in the two losses.

Only reason the Heat won a game is because the rest of the team showed up big time.

Him going off makes it easier for the rest of his teammates to get wide open looks. That is why I think he needs to just come out hard in the first quarter in Game 4 and impose his will.

But he is going to have to crack this Spurs D they are begging him to take all jumpers and nothing in the lane.

That game was even more of a blowout than game 2 and yet there is is way more activity in this thread. Wonder why?

No doubt. They also drafted Luis Scola, but traded him to Houston.

not really. Game 2 had about 4 pages of posts and so did this game

Magic said how he would play LeBron is play off of him because for a star player he is not that good of a shooter; don't let him beat you by attacking the basket and getting to the line.

I've long argued this (Charlie Rosen was the first to formulate this argument, really).

Put a long defender on him, and play off him. If LeBron's making his shot, you're probably toast anyway. But force him to beat you that way instead of giving him driving lanes, where he'll always beat you.

What is there to really say about a game like that? Neal and Green played out of their minds. Of course Miami is going to lose a game like that. In some ways, they're lucky that they played like complete ass while San Antonio's role players careered it, because no matter how well you play you're not beating a team that has two guys who go 13-19 from three.

Cool that a guy like Neal got such a big moment on the grandest stage.
