I remember Ape starting out like 9-0 one year. Can't remember when it was. I think he eventually got hurt.

What difference is it that its May. It was a beautiful night Greinke was pitching. The place was only half full. It wasn't an "incredible" crowd.

One pitcher like this with a little help in this division can contend. Dumbass

Yep...Saberhagen is the only Royals pitcher I remember COMPLETELY dominating for stretches as long as this one. I hope Greinke turns out better (I'm greedy).

Uh, I think that was my point. How can you call a half full crowd in May similar to a playoff crowd?

Holy crap. I mean this is freaking ridiculous how good he is. Note that these teams he's beating aren't offensive lightweights, either.

White Sox (2 times)
Blue Jays
Rangers
Tigers
Indians

I mean, he's not shutting out the Omaha Royals, here. This is fun. Now I can't WAIT to go to the game Saturday night in Anaheim. I'm going to show up at the gate....maybe tomorrow. LOL

Go Royals!!!

The best part of the game was the sad individual who patterned his whole style after Guy Fieri. Who the **** wants to be mistaken for that ****face?

Attendance numbers aside, those who were there were fired up, and into the game. And like Gobble, it didn't phase him.

I bet there weren't many dads taking their kids to the friggen' merry-go-round in the outfield at the end, there...

The guy has more complete games than earned runs. I don't know if either of them can match a run like this.

He had only 79 pitches going into the 8th.

If he keeps pitching this well, we won't have to worry about him racking up innings because his pitch counts will be so low.
