We also need to put an age restriction on all future KU threads. Must be 45 to participate.

My wife left me because I intentionally shaved my head bald, grew a goatee, and traded in both of our cars for a Camaro when I joined ChiefsPlanet.

Is that good enough?

As long as you watch the 97 team from start to finish, you're in. You might be the president after.

I'm just happy this let down of a season is over.

Wish the seniors the best whatever they end up doing post KU, but I won't miss any of them.

Exactly this

Really odd going into the tourney with no expectations and I know it’s sad but…. I’m not hurting too bad since they shit the bed early and I can just watch the rest as a college basketball fan

That one stung. The Michigan loss hurt too. The one in 2012-13 we had no business of losing. That turd Trey Burke.

The Bucknell/Bradley years sucked. But I chalked those up to when you're in it every year, you're gonna get got at times. It's happened to everybody.

Most painful KU losses of my conscious life ranked:

1. Syracuse 2003. Win and your champs. 3 point loss on 12-30 from the line.
2. VCU 2011. The field was wide open that year. Inexcusable loss to a team that barely made the tourney.
3. Northern Iowa 2010. Way too much talent on that team to lose so early. Really bad draw too.
4. Villanova 2016. The Graham foul still pisses me off. Ellis goes out on a total dud. Choked away a lead. That team could’ve won it all.
5. The Entire Tournament 2020. We can only imagine what could’ve been. One of the best KU teams ever has it ripped away. I bet Dayton fans take that one worse though.
The Bucknell loss is up there for me. That game was ass.

That game was awful but the writing was kinda on the wall for that team. Never transitioned well from Roy to Bill with the four SRs. Huge divide between the SR and freshmans and Langford was playing on one leg.

96-97 was tough, but they ran into a really good Zona team. That one I have been able to justify as I got older.

2003 they choked away at the foul line. That one hurt. Soph. Langford was so good.

The Self years 2011 and 2010 are the head scratchers. Deep roster. Multiple NBA guys. Those two years will be the ones that keep Self up at night and also from being mentioned in the same breath as Roy and K.

Ha. I logged in expecting much worse. We literally had no ****ing expectations.

It's interesting to consider though, we're all like FUUUUUCK this. Imagine losing to Robert Morris. At home. In the first round. Of the NIT. Incredible.

So Harris and Dickenson stayed too long, right? Those dudes were just NOT hungry. Dickenson hasn't ever been athletic, but Harris regressed right? He's not the same player he was 2 years ago. Or am I crazy?
