Road game against the Niners next week won't be easy. Legit defense with a lot of physicality. Deebo Samuel is a monster playmaker for the SF offense. Seemed like they had a strong crowd in that Rams game on Monday Night Football awhile back as well.

Some of these pundits seem to get all emotional during the games and fire off podcasts or articles in the heat of the moment (not sure if what you're talking about applies).

I don't think they appreciate how hard it so to be the Brady Patriots - where you're every opposing team's Super Bowl every week.

This was the Raiders' last gasp at having a season. If they beat KC in Arrowhead, at 2-3 they can still dream. Now they're done and they know it. Let's see how it goes late in the season when they're all packing it in and making vacation plans.

The Chiefs are good, but not good enough to dominate a division rival playing with max desperation. Just take the W and be happy.

I get that BUF is favored this week, though I'm not sure that the Vegas line (-3) is accurate.

On paper, it looks this way to me:

BUF has the advantage at WR, no question. I think they might have that advantage for the rest of the season, barring any huge pick ups by the Chiefs down the road.

Travis Kelce. 'Nuff said on TEs.

OL goes to the Chiefs if Trey plays.

And they have the better defense this week. This should even up later in the season, but right now they have the tighter secondary and the better DL. Plus, KC will be missing a couple starters for this meeting.

At QB it's still advantage KC, but the margin is definitely shrinking. It's definitely not the huge gulf between the two it was a couple seasons ago. Allen has morphed into the best QB in the NFL not named Mahomes.

ST I give to the Chiefs, but I doubt STs are going to dictate much in this game, so call it a wash, or a very slight advantage KC.

Running game is probably pretty much a wash, with neither team actually sporting a consistent NFL caliber run game, but I'll give the Chiefs a slight advantage because I think we have the better run-blocking OL.

So slight advantage to BUF overall, since this week they will have clear cut advantages at WR and defense overall. Basically, a wash everywhere else.

I could see a 1 or 1.5 point advantage for BUF, but 3 seems a bit high. Come playoffs, I think the defense thing will cancel if we're healthy, and our run game will probably edge theirs, mostly because we just flat out have a better running OL when they're healthy.

Of course, so long as Diggs and Gabe Davis are on the field, they'll always have the advantage at WR this season. Spags has done a good job of holding Diggs down in the past, but now this Davis guy has apparently come into his own, and judging from the highlight reels, he's going to be a problem. My guess is that Spags will do what he's been doing vs. Diggs (with a couple twists because that's how Spags rolls), and try out different matchups with Gabe. So expecting Gabe to have a pretty good day, but hopefully by the end of the half he'll have someone on him that can slow him down a little.

Going to be a very interesting game.

mmm, not quite. Patrick has been luckier, imo. He's definitely thrown several balls (at least three?) that should've been INTs, but the defenders dropped them. He's been pretty lucky about that so far.

In this game, Pat needs to be even more careful than he has been up to now about that, because I agree that a turnover probably decides this one.

I think both QB's play fairly mistake free this game. Might come down to the kicker that doesn't $3it the bed...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Have you watched all of Josh Allen’s snaps to find out how many of his passes should’ve been intercepted?

He was pretty careful against the Raiders. Need to continue that. But I don't want to see deep shots on 3rd and 3 like we saw at the end of the Raiders game. You need first downs. Play smart and go for the higher percentage throws. He did this against Buffalo in the playoffs last season. Need to do it again. Be smart and efficient.

Nope. I've only been able to watch like 3 NFL games this season. Just too busy.

But Allen already has 4 INTs, I think. So he's is getting picked off. Pat has just two, but if we're going to be honest about it, he should've been intercepted at least two if not three more times.

I'm not bagging on Pat; it's the style he plays and he's going to get intercepted. It's actually surprising with all the wild ass throwing angles (and some of his riskier decisions) he regularly uses that he hasn't been intercepted more than he has, not just this season but for his career.

But my point was just that if we understand that Pat has thrown some interceptible balls that were just dropped, then he and Allen aren't that far apart so far as ball security goes. It's a wash, imo.
