In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

Likely, but not definitively. If they go with the "week 19" option, there's a reasonable scenario where the Bengals beat the Ravens and we beat the Raiders, the Bengals would be locked into the 3 seed. That would let them rest their starters against the Bills the week after, almost certainly giving the Bills the win they'd need to secure the 1 seed.

It would suck, but I'm not going to throw a fit if it happens.

Depends on if the game gets played or not.

If they don't play it, the Chiefs are the benefactor, tho it would feel kinda icky and it will surely be thrown in our faces for the entire tenure of the playoffs.

If they DO play it, but play it after week 18, then the Chiefs are likely to get ****ed as Cinci may have nothing to play for if they beat the Ravens.

I suppose our case that we deserve the #1 over both these teams is also injured by the fact that we lost to both of them this year.

Not sure I agree with this part. Sure Buffalo could have won the game, but they equally could have lost. The difference is that it would have been decided on the field vs like this. What happened is truly awful and was hard to watch. You can’t just hand out things over it. You can’t give one team an advantage over others because they were the unfortunate beneficiaries of a bad thing happening. It’s not fair to every other player in the league who has given their blood, sweat, and tears to get to this point. Plus what would be the cutoff and why that?

To say “We should have taken care of business against Indy” overlooks losses the Bills/Bengals have that they should have one. It’s no difference when a ref blatantly screws over a team and they use the “We should have played better” line vs calling out what it is.

I think it's becoming very clear, that this game is never going to be played.

Get ready for Chiefs/Chargers playoff game because the NFL is going to get the Bills/Bengals game one way or another. Winner heads to KC.

Sets up the dreaded Back to Back game BS of Bills vs NE. Like we need to see that shit show twice in a row. But we also get back to back Ravens vs Bengals games.

What an awful mess.
