Finished the day strong. Had eaten like crap up until I posted. Had water the rest of the day and my dinner was a protein shake. And, that was to make sure I had the proper fuel for my workout.
Did legs and abs yesterday. I do abs just about every day, but on Leg day, I do weighted machines to try to add a little bulk to my abs. I can barely walk today. Which is a good thing. Everything from my nipples down is sore. Starting off well today. I am having a protein shake. I have a business lunch, which kind of sucks because the guy wants to eat at IHOP. Since it is a client, of course I have to indulge him. I guess it is time to bounce over to IHOP.com to see what I can eat. Today is Chest/Triceps. My favorite day. And, tomorrow will be an off day so I have to hit it hard. |

Eat what you want; just eat less. Make up for it later.

Last night I did arms and shoulders--my trainer had me do these tricep moves in a plank position...tricep move with cables at 12.5 lbs. Obviously one arm at a time...that was tough...after all the other stuff I did, at the end I had to hold in plank for 3 minutes--then move one arm towrds my back and then do the same with the other arm, 20 times each, still in plank position, and then bring my legs underneath me one at a time, still in plank. I was in a plank position for over 5 minutes. I offered to puke on his shoes...
I had a very green salad with strawberries, blueberries and red rasberries, shaved almonds, feta cheese and a salt free balsamic dressing. ground beef with a salt free tomato topping and blanched broccoli in a wasabi oil... I have leftovers today and Imvery happy about that... Oh and I had a piece of red chili dark chocolate---Tasty. Its my Bday, so i figured I was ok to have some chocolate--spicy at that ![]()

I'm getting sick of oatmeal for breakfast. Where's that sausage gravy and cowboy biscuit thread. And some eggs and bacon. Can't forget the hashbrowns. Katchup and lousiana hot sauce.

Perhaps. Just incorporate two days of fasting until dinner. It's a great way to cut calories for the week. It works especially well if you don't go over on the calories, but it's a fantastic tool for when you do.

I've never, ever tried fasting. I've been in a situation where I haven't had food for 10-12 hours and it feels like hell. Don't think I could bring myself to do that.

Spin class tonight. Not much fun, but I worked hard. Tomorrow morning I get back into the kettlebell circuit.

I know it's legit because I weighed on a 2nd scale today and verified it. How is that possible? |

Water weight?
Maybe the foods you consumed had labels that did not accurately show their calories. There's no way that it's possible without consuming excess calories. Your metabolism isn't broken; you'd know it. |

Sunday was my cheat day. But, I didn't eat 5,000 calories. Let alone the thousands and thousands I'd need to offset my BMR and exercise. I feel absolutely fine. I don't know how I'd feel if my metabolism was broken, but I know that I'm feeling like a million bucks with my workout regimen. I'm baffled. |
