As I live in Vancouver...and we are hosting the world..let me say good luck to all the American athletes....I'll be cheering for Americans' Vonn and that red-headed snowboard dude...but Hockey...gotta be Canada. Enjoy!

correction, its tied 4-4.

I kinda like the end of the 5th end, 2 rocks left when I turned it on, USA was up 4-1 but Japan had 5 rocks in scoring position, I was thinking "holy crap, how did they screw it up so bad!"

Apparently they thought the same thing, called one of their 2 1-minute time outs, the USA coach came down and told them what to do (limit the damage, they can cut three of Japan's stones off from scoring position). Placed it perfectly, Japan couldnt even knock it out, so they had to settle with just tossing one more into scoring position to score 3 instead of 5.

It boggles my mind that sports can even have 'spoilers' in this day and age... It's a sporting event, not the end of 'Empire Strikes Back'. Come on NBC, get it together and give it to ABC.

USA doesnt seem to be playing this end very well

This could be a disaster. USA is putting themselves in a position where they might have to make a tough shot to score 1, or if they miss Japan could score without the hammer.

2 rocks left, USA +1

USA is forced to settle for 1 point, tied 7-7, Japan has the hammer in the 9th end.
