1. 12 hours for each pick. Unless it's on the weekends.....then your clock can go **** itself.

2. Make sure that you have PMs turned on. After you make your selection, PM the next person up to let them know that they're on the clock. If you know that you aren't going to be on and able to make your selection, PM a list of your desired picks (in the order you want them) to someone else. You can send those to me if you want since I won't be in control of any teams. If you miss your pick, you will be skipped and you'll have to make your pick as soon as you can. If you miss two consecutive picks, you lose your teams.

3. Format your selections as such: *Insert team name* selects Player Name, POS, School. Make sure they are bolded so that people can see them. You can add pictures and explanations if you'd like but they aren't required.

4. Do a search of the thread before you pick to make sure that the player hasn't been selected. If you pick a player that has already been drafted, you face the wrath of the entire thread and you'll have to correct it. So don't make a pick and then leave for 14 hours. Stick around and make sure that you didn't **** up.

The Carolina Panthers select Roderick Johnson, Tackle, Florida State University

so I know the Panthers just threw a big pile of money at Matt Kalil, but would you rather pay Matt Kalil a lot of money and not fix your LT problem or pay Matt Kalil a lot of money and probably fix your LT problem? Johnson isn't the most nimble tackle out there but he's very effective in pass protection. He's also powerful in the ru game, which makes him a good fit for the offense going forward centered around Fournette and Stewart. He was the last guy we thought could man the position so we had to jump on him here.

He was one of the 3 names I sent to DJ for the pick, in case Williams was taken. He's Sean Smith on a rookie contract, IMO...but I just don't see as much immediate need at CB as I did with OLB, I guess. If Terrance Mitchell wasn't so damn impressive (at least to me) I would have ran with his name on a card to the commish and been thrilled with the pick. If Dadi didn't get hurt so late in the year, Wilson is quite likely my pick for KC...but I essentially viewed Wilson and Williams as fairly equal (in terms of level of skill) so the tipping point was need.

KCs pass rush has hit a wall going into the playoffs every year under Reid...my hope is that Williams ends that. Hopefully, getting a guy like him on the roster as Tamba Halis career winds down can help him improve his game and therefore help the defense take that important next step.

Plus, I see the defense as having a lot of nice guys on it, lots of guys that say the right thing, are great in the community, etc. I honestly think the defense is missing that one nasty mother****er that sets the tone. A guy that will hit a QB late early in the game and stay in his head. A guy that plays through the whistle and sells out. I think Williams would add an element to the defense that we sorely need.

Cleveland felt that Anderson would be a good team player who can challenge for a starting spot immediately. While we don't necessarily need a starter at that position, he was a talent-based pick and can also provide a bit of a pass rush.

If the real draft falls this way, I'd love to see Dorsey start packaging late rounders to move up in the third. I mean this is the third round and there are a handful of prospects with late first/early second round grades still out there.

I think both he and Tim Williams are being severely underrated by some here because neither was a full time 3 down player...but both guys are very very talented.

It kind of reminds me of when USC had a bunch of LBers that one year and the guy that didn't even start went on to be the best of all of them. Clay Matthews.

Which is why I think Watson could be a good QB. He did work on one of the best college defenses ever.

Id be happy if they pick him, but I see some limitations to his game that could prevent him from being an elite level QB in the NFL.

Or am I judging him incorrectly and you think he could be the next Russel Wilson/Dak Prescott?

I think Watson is closer to Smith than Wilson. While he does have some limitations the difference between him and Smith is that he's willing to take chances. I think we all would be pretty happy with Smith if he took some chances but for whatever reason he refuses to do so.
