Missouri got rid of crappy CM and the board went out and got one of the top coaches according to some in Cleveland State's Dennis Gates.

In 2 days he has 2 recruits

Top JUCO player 6' 10" Mohamed Diarra
Transport portal DeAndre Gholston who avg 15 pts at Milwaukee over the past 2 years

Very excited!

We should be quite a bit higher than a 9 seed, but that's what they're saying. Hell we should be ranked. About to be 21-8 and we have lost to:

Rankings at time of loss:
#6 KU
#13 Arkansas
#4 Alabama
#25 Texas AM x2
19-9 Auburn
18-10 Mississippi State
14-14 Florida - bad loss

We have some pretty damn good wins (rankings at time of win)

Illinois - 16th
Kentucky - 17th
Arkansas - 25th
Iowa State - 12th
Tennessee - 5th

So 1 bad loss and it was to a current .500 team.

We should be a 7 at worse.

The big 12 is hogging all the top seeds because it’s “such a tough conference and they beat each other up” as Kansas has pulled away from the pack. The SEC is a tough conference this year yet we don’t get the benefit of the doubt for some reason.

I hear you but if we shot well we can beat anyone in the country except maybe Kansas. We get past them then final four is within reach.

Down by 13 at the half to an LSU team that’s 3 games under .500. Of course, normal SEC road shenanigans. Mizzou whistled for 9 fouls, LSU only 4.

And it doesn’t help that LSU is shooting 100% (12-12) from the charity stripe and 75% (11-15) from behind the arc.

Hopefully they cool off in the second half. Kind of hard to win when the other team is doing that, especially on the road.
