I believe Kansas is one of like 6-8 teams that could make the F4 this year. Tennessee isn’t.

Fran had a good point. In big 12 games, Nowell leads big 12 in scoring, assists, 3 point percent and steals. How do you not vote him Player of the Year?

What's his teams record?

Realistically I think think any of these teams could make the F4:

Kansas
Baylor
Alabama
Houston
Miami
TCU
UConn
UCLA

Could talk me into these teams being possible F4 teams as well:
Arizona
Purdue
Xavier


I don't think Tennessee and Virginia score enough for me to feel comfortable saying they could be F4 teams.

Fran said that? Nowell has had a good season. Bordering on great. And I’m not sure the cats win 5 in conference without Nowell’s contribution. So it’s a legit argument. But the rough stretch that cats played coincided with his worst stretch.

So.. he’ll finish a distant second.

Fran probably said that to see how many “I hate Fran” threads get started on phognet. Or twitter.

I think Creighton is a final four contender. They got off to a rough start (partly due to injuries) but they’re probably as talented as any team. Wouldn’t count out Gonzaga either.

Best player on the best team will always get a lot of votes.

Dedric Lawson led the Big 12 in scoring and rebounding the year that KU’s streak was broken. Zero chance a KU player was taking POY that year though.

What a crazy ass season. Nebraska going on a run despite losing 2 key starters and the birth of the Japanese Curry is something. I've always liked Fred glad he gets to keep his job for another year

Good teams win, great teams cover.

They didn't make any substitutes in the second half, so idk how to feel about that. This team misses Wheeler badly. Reeves is getting exposed defensively but Livingston has been getting better and better the past few weeks.

Not sure how I feel going into March, but better than I did in early January.

And Tim Horton (KCC): Kentucky has 5 Q1 wins with a chance to reach 7 before end of regular season. With 4 of those wins already coming against tournament teams and a bubble team.
