I doubt it. Brodie was terrible. Had no confidence or desire to work.

I'm not disputing that. However, Cassel's confidence was at an arguably all time high and had excellent playcalls to benefit his lack of ability to go through progressions.

Brodie was just awful.

I admit I fell right into the Croyle trap. I thought we could have him sit for a year or two and put on some muscle.

It was that rifle arm. Dude threw a crazy good ball with excellent zip and velocity.

There was nothing wrong with giving Croyle a chance. He had the physical tools. Mentally, he just wasn't there.

And I'd rather roll the dice on another prospect like Croyle (Geno, who's WAAAAY better) than waste time on Alex Smith.

When Croyle should have been working like a ****ing madman to claim the starting QB spot in 2007, he was instead dicking around with this ****ing wedding. Sure, he could have kept it small and manageable, but from his interviews, it sounded like a huge ****ing shitshow that required not only the bride to work hard but also the groom to slave away.

I don't even know why the **** he entered the NFL. A team gave him a chance to be the starting QB and he completely said, "Don't really care."
