I know we're weary of him getting injured, but wtf is the point in having Mondi sit every other game. It's the last month of the season, so see if he can get through playing an entire month.

Why is Isbel not up manning CF? We have him in the opening day lineup and let him start 12 measly games. He needs big league ABs the rest of this year and next.

The thing that will drive me insane is that we have so many guys next year that will be needing full time ABs in the majors, but this off-season DM will 100% sign some AAAA utility **** to block a prospect.

6 More to pass the great Johnny Bench.

This would be an incredible achievement.

Fun game to attend in Omaha tonight! Pretty memorable for a minor league game. It was “bring your cat to the park” night. It was pretty funny because literally no one brought a cat but they kept playing cat sounds, songs referring to cats and cat memes on the scoreboard. Then, in an ode to Joba Chamberlain, the entire stadium got swarmed by midges or gnats or some shit for about 3 innings. And I mean swarmed. Everyone was picking handfuls of bugs off their clothes and hair for a solid hour or so.

Anyway, game itself was pretty sweet. AAAA super star Ryan McBroom crushed two monster dingers and Isabel hit one out as well. BWJ made a couple slick plays and had a hit. He also destroyed a ball that was just foul or it would’ve been a monster dong.

Werner is a great place to see a game if you get the chance. Storm Chasers now tied for first.

Would take a hell of a month, but it’s doable. The Bench record has more historical importance so I’m hoping he at least gets that one. His current pace has him on track to beat Bench and tie Solar.

Just to add, historically Salvy hits the Twinkies like a red-headed stepchild.

Yup. 7 more to tie it with 27 games remaining.

It’s absolutely within striking distance.
