The fact that Denver had so much success with the Rat offense in the 90’s and early 2000’s is quite odd bc they passed on Rat Jr, Kevin O’Connell, Zac Taylor and Mike McDaniel (who is from Denver).

It’s clear as day that the Rat offense is like the Andy Reid offense in different ways. It’s incredibly QB friendly.

I would have hired O’Connell last year. Doesn’t make any sense to get away from that

Now you get to enjoy your team putting every available resource into trying to be the “Great Value Chiefs”.

Must suck to know your team has no chance at anything significant for at least 2 years and realistically more like 4-5.

If they are smart, they will hire a coach that focuses on the run game while building a monster OL for them to run behind. Someone that will hold Russel accountable while instilling a hyper competitive and aggressive style on offense. Someone that will hire someone to run the defense and focus on the offense. Someone that knows the division very well and got to prepare for those games.

Hmmm

Whoever could that be?
