Now this is the time I tell you to put your BLM biases to the side and you say that’s not it at all and he’s fat and we get into a political shouting match in this beautiful thread of candy canes, rainbows, and a competent Chiefs OL.

I’ll just defer to my man staylor who hates Niang for opting out and protesting but recognizes that the guy never gave up a sack and Chase Young cited him as the best OL he faced.

and scurvy, if Niang fails miserably, I won’t be hiding. And once he’s a respectable player, I hope you’re not either and consider marching with him next time in his quest for social justice.

He wasn’t going to “play now” last year. He was still recovering from hip surgery.

I think we found our Emmitt Smith for this offense. LB's can't cover him, they will have to cheat a safety up, which leaves them short for deep routes.

I don’t hate Niang for opting out at all. I believe it was beneficial for us in the long run.

I also don’t hate that he protested. That’s his right. Just because BLM is 100% a Marxist movement selling lies about police hunting black people doesn’t mean that I disagree with his right to protest.

Guys its only been 1 and Niang had a pretty bad hip injury some teams supposedly took him off their boards because of it. Theres no denying he was a 1st round talent before the injury. Its football shit happens.

Rookies are not going to be able to pick up Andy's offense with just a few Zoom calls and no practice with the team. Willie Gay even talked about how much it set him back by missing all the normal stuff last year.

People should be giving Niang more than 2 days of practice before hitting the panic button.

I've not seen anything from the Chiefs coaches or admin that said anything about if he would or wouldn't have played last year. That's CP'er guesstimating. If he was healthy by the end of last year had he not opted out he may have played and made a difference.

You clearly didn’t follow the draft process and know nothing about Niang’s struggles after hip surgery.

It’s literally part of the reason why he opted out. He wasn’t going to be 100%.

I can see the decision on not starting Niang due to the personell on the OL. Reemers is a competent RT. Brown gets hurt for a couple of weeks, I’d rather see Niang fill in there instead Reemers going to LT. Niang filling in at RT.

Sasquatch Jones is a man possessed... the absolute commitment in his demeanor, visibly evidenced by the weight drop, is the sure sign of a guy about to go off

This guy is our Reggie White, hang onto him for dear life

By his people pundits and Twitter tards. Never heard anything from chiefs and the medical staff.

Last I had heard the Chiefs were pretty high on Niang, no?

Remmers agent did flat out say he was signed to be the starting RT. Pretty sure this has been the plan all along.

The same staff that said Eric Berry was day to day. Use some critical thinking skills here if teams took him off their board entirely because of the hip there wasnt a chance guys with coming off a serious injury and limited access to medical staff due to the pandemic were going to be able to produce. Give him time.
