Good stuff George
I am still laughing at the image you created with your comment of "Matthieu running around like daffy duck"

Keizer also had some horrendous block attempts yesterday, leading to Mahomes getting sacked on one. This dude needs to pack it up. |

These Broncos games are just terrible now. They're almost like scrimmages. You can tell the Chiefs are barely even trying.
The most exciting thing in this game for me was seeing Bell run wild. He looked really good. Next week's game is going to be a laugher, too. And most likely the game vs Carolina. We are going to be tuned up for the Raiders and Bucs nicely.

I warmed up to this game by watching every road game we played during our 10 game domination streak. I forgot how great some of those games were.
1. Destroying Manning on the day he set the yardage record 2. Doink game 3. Pat's first start 4. Left handed throw game - come from behind win 5. The only one that wasn't so fun - the Pat kneecap game.....and we still beat the snot out of them But adding this one to that list was even better.....great day! |

I loved how Sorensen has this incredble play, and then goes all White ass Mormon on the celebration...You do you Dan...you rock...
Great write up. I was watching on the couch in the basement with my wife, who was reading the latest Grisham novel. She's a "donk" fan, but not really. We had some friends stay the weekend with us so we were up super late on Saturday. They left about noon, and I slid into the couch and just vegged the day away. Sometime mid 3rd quarter, a strange feeling came over me. I couldn't quite place it. Then it occurred. I was bored. We were kicking the shit out of a team that was so lost it wasn't even funny. It's ironic that they beat us on TOP, Yardage, and Lock out-threw Mahomes, and we beat them by 4 TD's. I mean damn... This new version of the offense is just further proof...Chiefs can adjust and play smart football. Yeah, they can whip out the fireworks when needed, but it just was not needed in this game. Rather, we continued CEH's rookie learning curve as well as got some playing time in for Bell. The OLine was pretty bad at times...but I feel like that will come together with time. We're about to enter the cake portion of the schedule, so this will be like a mid-season preseason. Should get a lot of guys the reps they need to be ready to kill come the playoffs. Thanks again G! GO CHIEFS!
