my favorite to get: popcorn balls(shows how old i am)

one year, the wife and i were out of town for halloween. she bought candy and left it w/our twin sons(teenagers) to hand out. we found out later that they ate all the candy and when the neighbor kids came by, they gave out cans of green beans, cucumbers, and a head of lettuce.

Lady down the street would have hot coffee and fresh made dounuts when i was a kid. then the next house youd get a penny.

we had an old lady that would make a huge bowl of popcorn, and let you grab a handfull to drop in your bag. wet, soggy and nasty!
