It's a gimmick stadium.

The Crawford boxes and LF dimensions are a joke.

The CF ramp/in-play flagpole/440 FT fence is a joke.

The train in the OF is a joke.

Oh, and it's a bandbox.

Train has gone bye bye. It's all advertising now.

The only reason it was there is because part of Minute Maid was the old Union Station train station.

The pole in the outfield is a joke though.

What's wrong with the Crawford boxes, too short of a field?

Finally? You think it's good that a .200 hitter with a .239 OBP get the most AB's?

He hasn't adjusted to the leadoff spot. There is no debating that. I like seeing him in that spot but if he isn't doing well there (understatement) I like seeing him moved back down to hopefully prevent a prolonged slump. That doesn't mean Getz is an adequate replacement though.

Lineup is bullshit. Makes zero sense; which means that we will score 8+ runs somehow.

This same lineup (minus Kottaras) will then get run out there 10 days in a row.

I sat in the Crawford box once...it was a really fun game. It was the game the Cardinals needed to win to get into the playoffs 2 years ago when they went on that ridiculous run and ended up winning the World Series. My roommate was a diehard Cardinals fan so we made the drive from Dallas and it was really, really, really fun. And I hate the Cardinals.

Not much you can do with that. 7-8-9-1 is punchless, although Kottaras is always good for a walk or two. Getz leading off is brutal.

Oh, and as far as the park goes, yeah, it's not the greatest, but it's much better than the old Astrodome, that's for sure.
That means we will be getting $5 papa johns tomorrow.

I have been to Minute Maid multiple times. Minute Maid Park has zero soul. Zero.

They must hate Shields.
Again, Yost's constant fiddling of his lineups is something that worries me the most about him. Whether it was in MIL or KC, he never fails to make these these inane lineup decisions when his back is against the wall.

BUT HEY, AT LEAST HE GOT HIS DREAM L/R/L/R LINEUP HE'S BEEN LOOKING FOR LOLOLOLOL.
