The Colts are loading 8 men in the box to stop Chris Johnson/Lendale

What do the Titans do? They throw to try to spread out the coverage.

Is offensive playcalling really this simple or are Herm/Gailey just really, really stupid?

Some people make decisions out of fear, if you don't get it and give up a TD you just went down by 9, where as if you kick the EP you'd be down by 8...1 score.

I'd be coaching out of fear too if I had a cushy 8 figure job that I could lose by making unconservative game decisions.

People playing video games have better clock management skills than actual coaches, isn't that sad?

Mangini wasnt running guys up Mawae's ass every game.. Mawae didnt feel the love anymore, got jealous that Mangini didnt like the Buttsechs offense.

So Mawae went elsewhere...

You lose your job a hell of a lot quicker by losing than you do by winning.

Ask chickenshit Schottenheimer how far the turtle up gameplan ever got his bitch ass in the playoffs.

Marty coached for over 15 years. If the goal is to keep your job, he succeeded for the most part.

I still love what the Colts are doing here. They are attacking. Yeah, they gave up 15 yards of field position. BFD.

Well, yeah, that's probably true. But if Herm went for 1 in that situation, I would be verbally excoriating him with dental tools.

I bet there are video game players who are superior to some of these coaches. I mean no offense, but a lot of times these guys aren't geniuses or anything, and they don't recognize patterns that could help them.

I'm actually still not sure that the Saints' intentional safety yesterday was a bright move, either. They basically gave up the ball and gave the Chargers a chance to win.

I like that the Colts go for it on 4th down. Herm punts in that situation

You can thank Bernard Pollard for that but the Giants are pretty darn good though
