Congrats to the 2006 Big12 Champions: Kansas Jayhawks
This topic deserves a thread title IMO. With a win today, KU clinched it's 2nd straight Big12 Championship and it's 6th in 10 seasons, which this season's title will be shared by Texas if the Longhorns can beat OU in tomorrow's game. The Jayhawks can win it outright with a TX loss. This is about the only way I would ever root for Blow U in anything. With this young team, very few to no people would have thought this would have been possible. Especially the way the season started out. Rock Chalk Jayhawk Go KU!

Based on pretty much the only tv outside of football, college basketball, hockey, and Lost I watch (and lost may not last much longer).... it would be like Meg going to school and acting popular. You can just play along, even though her parents Peter & Lois, much less the kids at school know it's not true, and then later on catapult a bucket of fat on her, point & laugh.

Although Texas would get the #1 seed and be the Big 12 regular season champs should they win today, I would rather have KU win. I still hate the Texas schools for ruining the Big 8 and stealing KC's yearly Big 8 tournament as well as moving the Big 8 HQ out of KC.

IIRC, the the same thing happened last year. I remember seeing KU Big 12 champion garb for sale up in KC last year although OU was the #1 seed in the tournament and had the tie breaker over KU.

the big 12 is so down this year yet mu did worse then they normally do, kstate while improved couldnt win the games they needed.

like i heard somewhere else..... ku has a co conference title, a chance to make some noise in tourney, another 20+win season all while relying on 3 frosh and a couple sophs.

kstate and mu have a coaching search and their bucknell shirts
