It is. That picture doesn't do it justice. I'm sixty miles from it, and depending on the light, you can see it clearly. It's not like Rainier or anything (sea level to holy sh*t!) but it is impressive.

Yeah, I should take some better pics. At the time I was taking these, I was trying to get as wide an angle as possible to show off the view from the deck, not the actual peak.

I forgot to answer your seasonal question. Yeah, you can find people who discount (or claim to discount) their winter work simply because the demand isn't perceived to be as high during the winter. The truth is that most contractors offer discounts that may or may not be legitimate, just like "sales" at a retail store. I've offered legitimate discounts and paper discounts.
OK, cool! I appreciate it!

Tell me what angles to take pictures from for the deck and the doors, what measurments I should take, and I will send them all to you. I'm going to send you a PM with my contact info and we can discuss payment / services. You all need to give me an address to send a check to for the turkey fry! Got my tickets. Club level rows 8 and 9.

Thanks!

Yeah, there isnt any of that shit, just a clean cut and pull... and cutting it down. Seems to be a relatively easy project if I had the right tools... therein lies the problem.

the tree is about 30-35 feet tall... hard to say, but damn, its taxing.

No idea. We had it painted spring '05, and the dogs have scraped the shit out of it already. One of the reasons I want a composite deck. I would also like to have a hot tub on it as well (fall '07 maybe).

The stairs down are rickety as shit as well. The deck itself is pretty sturdy and large sized (1/3 of the length of the back of the house), but I really want a killer deck.

I for one would like to see a picture of this "thing." Perhaps a before and after shot is in order.
