I wonder if there's an Indy board where a writer from colts.scout.com is posting any one of a thousand different Freeney clips where he rushes the QB on a running play, creating a big hole for the back to go through, with the topic that Freeney doesn't deserve whatever the Chiefs are going to pay Jared Allen.

Just curious, why is the RB changing direction if the defensive line is getting it's ass handed to them. It looks to me like he's trying to get away from penetration?

I don't see any penetration, but now that you mention it, Mr. rtmike, it sort of looks like the RB is changing direction to get away from Allen's backside pursuit.

EDIT: Now that I've watched it again, it actually looks like the D did a pretty good job of sliding toward the point of attack. And JA did overrun the play.

Correct me if I am wrong -- The Chiefs run a 4-3 scheme... They don't change it up with a 3-4?

GOOD DEs are hard to find... When a team runs one defensive scheme (standard 4-3), and your right DE weighs 250-285, he's going up against 310-350 left tackle's -- LT's will run through the DE on most running plays, especially if the DE drops back into coverage. He becomes another outside LB. I'm also aware that Hali is a rookie.

We'll take Allen ! lol
