Shame On You, Herm Edwards

Shame on you. Shame on Solari's uncle, too. You cost these players this game. Mistakes and all, they could have won this thing if you had let them play. You are sick, sick bastards.

That is all.

Of course it is a miracle, Mr. DaneMcCloud. That's what makes it so disappointing. Our guys almost pulled it off and would have done so had Herm let them play (which, by the way, he said he was going to do). Running LJ up the guard's ass 30 times really isn't moronic?

No. The moronic thing now would be to make one more single excuse for this fool of a coach. I wish I had the time to cite the legions of reasons why this idiot should be some play-by-play guy's sidekick by tomorrow afternoon. I'm all for establishing the run. This happens at least once a season. Denver in 2006, Indy in 2007, New England in 2008. The Chiefs go in with an obviously conservative game plan, run a lot to eat up clock, and end up keeping the score close. And when they barely lose the game, some people are up in arms about not letting the players play or whatever.

To me, if they hadnt been playing like that, those games are never even close in the first place. It sucked they couldnt get it done at the end, but if they had used a different strategy they never would have had that chance. So to then turn around and blame the game plan that let them have a shot at winning just seems weird to me.

We got lucky and got two turnovers, but instead of turning those into any points, we did bupkis and so now you feel lucky that we were within 7 at the end, but the truth is we could have actually been winning if we took advantage of those opportunities. Not capitalizing on turnovers is a sure-fire way to lose a game, and you can't call that decent coaching.

How many teams scored 10 points and won today? If this was a once in awhile thing it would be different but it isn't It is Herm's philosophy. Why he thinks he is smart enough to win close games is beyond me.

It was good enough to score a touchdown had Bowe not dropped the ball.

JFC.

How this coaching staff even kept the Chiefs in the game is incredible to me.

Croyle was injured. Huard's intercepted in his first series. Dwayne Bowe was a drive killer.

The fact that the Chiefs had a chance to tie in the last two minutes is incredible.

Actually, Huard led the Chiefs to a TD his 1st series...the pick was on the 3rd series I believe.

I predicted ealy in the 1st quarter..........................

if Croyl is forced to pass only on obvious third & long or short he will get hurt. Herm is a good judge of talent. Herm is a pitiful coach. We were warned. **** U Peterson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A good coaching staff would have been aggressive after those turnovers to capitalize rather than squander the opportunity and a good coaching staff wouldn't have called that timeout to set up Cassel with his 50 yard play action out of his own end zone.

Who cares how close you were if you still lost in the end? There's no moral victories in the NFL. We could have won the game. I know we are rebuilding, and our W-L doesn't matter this season, but its actually a good thing for a young team to be rewarded for its hard effort by getting a W from a major upset.

Sorry, I call bullshit.

The right side of the Chiefs offensive line is shit. Pure and utter shit.

You can't be "aggressive", especially against a D-line that features at least 3 Pro Bowlers, with a shitty line.

Period.
