Agreed. Childress was in Philly when T.O. was there. I heard T.O. used to park in Childress's parking space at the Eagles complex, and wouldn't talk to Childress, but would go over his head and just talk to Andy Reid. I really doubt Childress would take him.

Who wants to overpay for a mouthy receiver that leads the league in dropped balls and locker room cancer situations?

I should have added a retire option.

He is 35, and he may not get any offers from a team hes interested in playing for.

He might think he's going to sit a year and then cash in during the uncapped year. He'd probably be wrong, but he is delusional.

Raiders, Ravens, Titans - in that order. Laughable how EVERYONE is convinced he'll be a Raider by Monday....

Chris Canty was being interviewed this morning and the hosts asked him about Owens. Canty said that TO was a very good teammate in the locker room and that he would be a good addition to the Giants. He said outside sources continually blew things out of proportion.

I personally don't think he'd be a good fit in NY because the media would just hover waiting to blow any statement up. He'd be a better fit in a small market where he could get to know a fairly honest reporter and speak through that one guy.

I think he'll be a raider, but i voted Pats. If the pats put an offer out i think he would take it. Owens, Mass and Brady...

I agree about TO would strive more in a small market team.

I'm thinking Titans would be his best fit.

They could cut ties with Burress if they signed Owens.
