I love that song, CB Daniels. I heard they may play this instead of Start Me Up at Arrowhead this year.

It's not surprising CB is a position the Patriots don't spend money or high draft picks on.

If there's one thing that would concern me about the history of Scott Pioli it's that he was never able to draft a legit WR and Asante Samuel is the only DB he ever hit on...lots of misses at those 2 positions.

David Givens gave some solid seasons as a 7th rounder and Deion Branch was a "legit WR".

Eh Branch is an ok player, he's not a dynamic playmaker in todays game he'd be lucky to start on alot of teams.

Bethel Johnson was a bust and Chad Jackson is another guy who never amounted to anything partially due to injury.

Thanks mr. buckeye, but I know Joey Galloway has had a very good career. The comparison is that they both held out, got traded for high draft picks, got hurt and didn't perform as expected for the team they were traded to. Branch has been in Seattle for 3 years. Galloway didn't return to his pre-injury production until 5 years after he was traded - and it wasn't with Dallas, but his 2nd year in Tampa Bay.

Oh, I don't know if anyone posted this, but it's Travis Daniels review on ESPN:
2008 Scouting Report - Scouts Inc. Grade: 59 | Key Alert: None Comment: Daniels is a three-year veteran who has good size, but only above-average athleticism for the corner position. He has good foot agility and balance, but questionable explosive speed and burst as a perimeter defender. He has good vision of the field and instincts as the play unfolds. He understands angles and route progressions to leverage the ball effectively. He is a long-limbed player, who doesn't have the catch-up quickness or speed if out of position versus the better receivers in the league. He should be more physical as a run defender or rerouting receivers, but is inconsistent in this area. He has decent ball skills and can get his hands on lots of balls in limited zone coverages. He is inconsistent to keep his pads down and maintain leverage in pure man coverage. He may be best in nickel packages with short and intermediate zone-coverage responsibilities. He has been relegated to a backup and special teams player who appears to lack the tools and talent to be a consistent productive starter in the league. Sounds to me like he's built for the cover 2.
