In the part I caught, they were raving about Clay Mathews. They went on and on about how he has the makings for a fantastic OLB. Then in the end they asked who looked the best of the LB's, and the consensus was Rey. I take that to mean he must have looked pretty darn good as well.

http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80f8ecee I still take Clay over Rey and Cushing.

Mecca is your typical internet message board loser who thinks he knows more than the likes of Josh McDaniels, Scott Pioli and Todd Haley combined.

Nice throw, but not really all that remarkable.

It's a great throw in a CLUTCH situation. If Roethlisberger makes that throw, all we hear about is how much of a winner he is.

I'm just saying that there's nothing exceptional about the throw itself. Making a play a clutch situation, getting out of the pocket, avoiding pressure and finding a receiver is the remarkable aspect of that play.

The mechanics, the tight spiral, the absolute perfect ball placement is what made me think that that throw might have been the best throw I have ever seen. I understand it wasnt a 50 yard over the shoulder bomb but the whole play that Cassel made just made me fall in love with that play at that moment. I wish the vid was a higher res so we could see it more clearly, but I still want to see another throw that can maybe change my mind on this being the best throw.

Did you see the clock? Snapped the ball with 8 seconds left in the game and that TD forced overtime. They ended up losing the game to the great Favre but that was a big time play. PhilFree

They posted those while I was typing mine so they didn't exist yet.
