I will wait until later in the week to make a prediction but I think we have a good chance.

The Raiders are playing late tonight and will have a short week after coming off a very physical game that favors us.

I'm much less certain of my "yes" answer now than I was before this game started. The Raiders have a good ground game and are learning how to be semi-functional as an offense with a semi-reeruned QB.

That said, I just don't think that what they're doing with some effect tonight should work against a well-coached team. You put Flowers on their TE (assuming he returns), stack the box with angry, motivated, embarrassed defenders, and tell them "go ahead and beat us with your WR's."

On offense, I think we can have success going away from Seymour, setting up some of the naked bootlegs that we ran against Minny in the preseason.

Obviously if our O-line doesn't do an adequate job of establishing a run, it won't matter. But I think we'll get it done.

We are going to have to play possesion pass by throwing to Bowe and letting him use his body to block out defenders. That means quick passes though, like slants and stuff. We can't let Cassell hold the ball or the Raiders line will kill us

That's one thing I didn't understand...with the smaller corners Baltimore has, why we didn't do some of those quick hitters and just let him stiff-arm his way down the field. Were they doing things to take that away?

If he is the best CB in the league, then the league has taken a step backwards.

Don't get me wrong, a very good corner, but the guy has two int's in the last two years. He has 20 passes defensed over that time. That is not a good ratio.

You may not complete it to his side, but chances are it won't get picked off.

He is a very good all around corner, but I am not scared of throwing to his side like I would be against Sanders, Bailey or Rod Woodson in his prime.

You and I have not talked much. Those who know me will tell you I am no homer. IMO he is the best CB in the NFL and second is distant. He has very low numbers because QBs are smart enough not to throw his way. I hope whoever starts for KC decides to throw at him often.

Ya think maybe his stats look low because QBs don't like to throw in his vicinity?

Twenty passes defensed, only two interceptions. Twenty chances. Look at the truly great corners, the legendary corners, and none of them have a passes defensed to interception ratio this low.

Sorry, the difference between good and great corners is making the offense pay for a mistake. He doesn't do that enough.

Not saying he isn't good. Not saying he isn't better than every person in the Chiefs secondary.

And, honestly, he is very good in run support as well, and is a very good overall player. ... but I am not scared to throw to his side.

I'm gonna say KC wins because Russell is so crappy. He kills their O.
