We had around 100 we figure, down a bunch from last year. I loved wearing my costumes when I was a kid, and always disliked the old bitter jackass neighbors who hid in their house to save a few bucks.

We had a tick over 300 kids come by.

The kids from the 3-6 yrs old range got the good stuff.

Tiny kids that didn't know better and jackass teenagers that didn't dress up got one of those little sleeves of whoppers or a fun-sized hershey bar. C'mon, at least put some effort into it, don't just show up in a football jersey with your backpack in hand.

And the dogs, harmless as they are (being labradors) hung out by the door the whole time just in case anyone thought eggs or TP were a good idea (and petting from the occasional 5 year old kept them content). They'd never hurt anything, but they're big, dark and LOUD; they'll scare you pretty good. Anyone coming by to !@#$ with my house will just move onto the next one.

Bunches, probably a couple hundred or more.
We recently moved to a new location, lots more families with kids around us now where our old house was surrounded by retired folks.

Hell, I remember when we used to get candy apples, popcorn balls, cookies, cupcakes and brownies from the neighborhood old ladies and they were safe to eat. And freak’n delicious too.
