We want some real down to earth Kansas City street stuff. We want original bbq, we want original jazz or blues lounges with wooden floors and cigar smoke and whiskey, we want hole in the wall, Anthony Bourdain adventures. Nothing trendy, nothing upscale, no rotating restaurants, no Hallmark stores, no bullshit.

Whatdaya gots?

It's a real hole in the wall now, having been downsized to basically a counter, and the hours are minimal, but the Mario's Grinder continues to be served in Westport.

Yes, it's very good. The catfish is worth it alone. And the peach cobbler.... ohh shit the peach cobbler...

I've always done the buffet at lunch. The buffet is definitely the way to go..
