This is quickly becoming the worst acquisition and contract extension in the last 25 years.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

It's everyone's fault except Prince Cassel correct?

It's sure leaning that way.

Realistically, Cassel hasn't gotten a lot of help. His receivers are a bunch of stone-handed idiots. His line is unpredictable and dangerous. His play-caller is marginal, at best. All contributors to poor QB play.

Still, he's throwing one hell of a lot of INTs now ... the one thing this team cannot afford and the one thing he cannot do.

As much as I wanted him to succeed, my patience is running out. Haley has a tough decision to make. A 28 million dollar back up is one damn expensive guy to have on your team.

For the short term yea that's fine, let a vet come in while the rookie sits for a year but if you want a QB to build your team around and hold down the position for a decade you spend the first rounder.

Reality is though, neither what you or I suggest will happen, Cassel will be the starter next year as well.

This team has problems and the QB is THE #1 problem.

Overthrowing open receivers and horrible situational awareness are the definition of Cassel.

If he plays like an AVERAGE ****ing NFL QB the Chief's win this game going away. The Chambers Bowe-like exhibition of hands should have never been an issue (even though he sucks too!)

He is absolutely horrible and anybody that defends him needs to check back into reality.

That may have been by design. A receiver was there to tip the ball back, but he didn't execute properly.

Oh, so in the Packers' game, it was the receiver's fault. Got it.
