Man, I run out to pick up some beer and I come back and the Chiefs are closing in on their new offensive coordinator. You may remember, just over an hour ago we told you Adam Shefter reported that Romeo Crennel is likely to be the Chiefs next defensive coordinator. Well, not to be outdone, ason LaCanfora is reporting that Charlie Weis could be filling the role of Offensive Coordinator.

From LaCanfora’s Twitter feed:

“Continue to hear the most likely landing spot for Charlie [Weis] is as the offensive coordinator of the Chiefs.”

What do you think Addicts? Do you like the possibility of a Pioli, Haley, Crennel and Weis team?

i'm not sold on Weis but i'm not against him either.

what i do want is some kind of OC and QB coach in here to provide a buffer for captain insano, Todd Haley.

Maybe with more help he won't be so nuts.

Well no doubt they'd both be upgrades,but I just wonder how"captain Insano" will coexist with them.I guess we can't get any worse,so why the fugg not.

Actually if Weis and Crennel are here it might tone down Haley some. But I like Haley's fight and sense of getting after it. He just needs to polish his act and having 2 guys like Weis and Crennel here could go a long way in helping him do just that.
