So men...

Is it going to be Okung or Berry?

Is that what we think?

Right now I have 9:4 on a $50 bet that the Chiefs DON'T take an OL/DL/or WR...

So if they take Berry, I win $112.50...

I can also take Okung for $50 (hedge bet) and get paid 11/2 on my money...

So if they do take Okung, I lose that 9:4 bet I made MONTHS ago and end up coming out even better...

So IF I hedge my 9:4 bet with Okung, you guys think I'll be a winner one way or the other?

I think he'll go straight to LG. Even if it's only one position change, he's going to leave. We'll be the team that ****ed him out of making LT money in the league. He's not going to stick around if that happens. It would be epic ****ing stupidity. Waste both of our 1st round picks from the 08 draft. JFC. I'm going to bed. I'm going to have a stroke if I keep thinking about this shit.

If it's McClain and I win my bet I'm taking it to Roulette and betting it all on black 3 times in a row...and if I win, I'll win like $2000+...and that will make me happy...if I lose I'll be even more pissed so that's the best way I can look at that scenario...

I doubt these guys care, they didn't draft them.

Oh and he'll get stuck at RT for a year unless we use 2 picks on OT's because Waters is still here and they signed 2 guys.

I'm not a big fan of guys that are already at their ceiling before coming out. While Trent is fairly polished, I think there's room for progression.
I agree with that. Bulaga will be as good as a rookie as he will be in year 4, IMO.

Williams and Okung both have tools that could make them elite LTs, but spread LTs haven't exactly set the world on fire.

I think you could call this the "poor man's class"

Okung= poor man's Clady (although he could be Jason Smith)
Williams= poor man's Jamaal Brown
Bulaga= poor man's Joe Thomas (could be Gallery)
Saffold= poor man's Branden Albert

it would be like the Chiefs saying...

Ok we're going to take McClain but here's $2,000...

I think that would be the only scenario where I could potentially be somewhat happy on Thursday if that happens.

Sliding him all the way over to a position he's never played ala Damien McIntosh should make everyone sound the Carl and Herm alarm.

Well, McClain isn't even the best LB in this class and he has major health concerns that you can't "fix"

Okung to me is more powerful than Jason Smith ever was and he's a far better drive blocker in the run game. Smith was just pure finesse in everything he did.

The only thing Okung does that really concerns me is he doesn't anchor extremely well so he has a tendency to get pushed back on bull rushes, with some weight and coaching that shouldn't happen anymore.

You nailed it. Bulaga will be the one to bust IMO. He'll need to bust his ass every single day to make a Pro Bowl in my opinion.

I think I'd rather have a video of me being ****ed in the ass by Greg Oden posted on YouTube while he sings "It's Raining Men" than for us to draft McClain.

If we take McClain it'll be after a trade down so don't start dreading that till after a possible trade....

If Washington takes Williams though, Okung basically fills everything Pioli wants, he's super safe, he'll start right away, oh and the fan base here will jizz itself.
