Schefter: Steelers Contacting Teams to Trade Big Ben for Top 10 pick

http://twitter.com/adam_schefter
Pittsburgh has begun contacting teams to trade Ben Roethlisberger for a top 10 pick. At least one team considering it. Story far from done.

I'm shocked at the voting. I thought it would be a landslide in favor of getting him.

Plus, he agreed to a new contract in 2008. KC would have him wrapped up for quite a while and wouldn't have to pay out a large signing bonus.

I voted "yes" based on ability, but only if I was confident that his rape issues were behind him (and I don't really see how we could be confident about that at this point).

Petro just mentioned his concussion history which I hadn't thought about. That's a concern too.

The guy is a complete idiot and maybe worse so while I want to win I wouldn't want to have to cheer for him to get those wins. He needs to check in with Tiger a the rehab center.

I noticed, I want Clausen badly, too, but I would rather get a guy that is a proven franchise QB then a guy that's got a OK shot at becoming one.

No biggie. No way Ben is coming here, he would fit in like an elephant on an ant hill.

weird as hell, this draft could get...

talent alone, i'd trade for him....he'd make our offense instantly top notch...he's about as clutch as there is in the nfl

but i also personally think he his a scumbag who has most likely forced himself on more than 1 woman....
