As UGLY as that was.........

We are still in first place in the AFC WEST. The donks got SPANKED today and either Oak, of SD will lose today. I honestly think we have a decent shot next week at Houston and then we are back at Arrowhead.

I hope at the end of the season that we're not backing into the playoffs. However, a rematch with INDY could turn out differently. I don't think we'd open the game the same way.

KC had so many holes a couple of years ago that there was no way to fix it all in 2 drafts/offseasons. They have made enormous strides and now are getting to the point where 4-5 more players could really set the stage. Before they were worrying about o-line, defense, team speed and special teams. Now they can start looking at the under-producing players as opposed to the non-producing players and may get into a position to try and build some depth. I'm dissappointed they lost yesterday but am thrilled with how this season has started.

This Club is one of the toughest physical teams ive seen in KC in a long, long, time. But take the FN point and dont get cute. All the talent & coaching doesnt mean shit when your HC BLOWS the game in the 1st series.
Take the FN POINTS! JFC!

We are painfully thin at many key positions.

This

AND, if you are going to go for it, don't put your fate in the hands of a full reerun QB. Let Charles hit the corner on a run and use his speed to find the end-zone.

Even if we lose a tough game in Houston, I hope the Arrowhead faithful show up for a team that will still be in first place. I WILL BE THERE! Go Chiefs!!

Hmmm, throw the ball into triple coverage to the WR with the worst hands on the team, or go for single coverage somewhere else? Hmmmm. Tough one.
