Which coaches do you think will be fired after the season?

It looks like Singletary sealed his fate. The owner just dissed him and the whole team.

Which coaches do you think will be fired or will not be resigned after the season?

I agree with both though you never do know with Jerry Jones. Leslie Frazier deserves a shot and I think he will get it either with the Vikes or some where else.

I agree. If Frazier doesn't get the job in Minnesota, I think Wilf will have made a mistake, JMO.

You have to look at the big picture. Fisher is a guy that affects the entire football team. He's smart, he has the experience, the Titans just dont have the talent on the field right now to be where they want to be.

If he fires Fisher to keep ONE PLAYER, it would be the most shortsighted move an owner could make. Particularly because Vince Young isnt really even that good. Say he gets hurt again and he's out. You just canned one of the best coaches in the league to keep a player that cant even play for you. That better be one helluva coach you got, and judging by who all is going to be available, none of them are better than Jeff Fisher.

As long as Fisher doesnt end up in the AFC West, I dont really care what the Titans do.
You couldn't be more wrong. Jeff deserves to get fired more than anyone.

A Parcells guy and it's not Sparano's fault that Chad Henne did not work out because Henne was probably a Parcell's pick Hell IMO the dolphins are very much like the Chiefs in reference to having a alot of potential talent and our QB looks like he will work out and theirs will not and that makes the difference obvioulsy in winning. Defenses are about the same, both have good running games, each have one big time WR and each team plays everyone tough for the most part. We have the QB they do not

Jerry got that taste of success with JJ and wanted more of the limelight to put more of his stamp on the team and so much so he ran JJ out of town.

I think Jerry finally learned his lesson after Jerry hired Parcells and from that point on Jerry will always hire a weaker personality he can control because Jerry is a "coach wannabe"/owner otherwise known as a "meddler"(ala Al Davis). I'm sure Parcells got Jerry's word before Parcells took the job that Jerry would not "meddle"(knowing Jerry's reputation) but Jerry in the end couldn't keep his word and Parcells say's "I'm outta here"!

lIt will be interesting if Garrett stands up to Jerry's sh** in the future. But I don't see Garrett having that "fu personality" to demand calling his own shots and why Jones will probably keep JG IMO

A pair of Houston Texans fans who believe coach Gary Kubiak should be fired are organizing a rally for Sunday to make their point, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Fans Brad White and Scott Carter are hoping the demonstration before Sunday's season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars will help convince team owner Bob McNair to change coaches, according to the report.

"I want to stress that I don't want people to come out to bash Kubiak," White told the Chronicle. "We don't want vulgar signs out there. We're not there to bash him. We're there to say that we want a change."

The Texans, who this season were thought to have their best chance of finally reaching the playoffs, instead have struggled to a 5-10 record.

"Five years has been enough," White said of Kubiak's coaching tenure in Houston, according to the report. "We've regressed this year. Minus a couple players, we believe the players aren't responding to [the coaching staff] anymore."

Kubiak's contract runs through the 2012 season, and McNair offered a vote of confidence for his coach two weeks ago -- after the team rallied from 21 points down to tie, but eventually lose, a Monday night game to Baltimore.

With Sunday's loss to Denver, Kubiak's record slipped to 36-43 through five seasons.

The Texans' defense ranks 29th overall and last against the pass, allowing 277 yards per game. Houston also has allowed 32 touchdown passes and 17 pass plays covering at least 40 yards, both league highs, and most of those defensive breakdowns have occurred in the fourth quarter.

The Texans have led or been tied in the fourth quarter of seven of their past eight games, and lost all but one of those.

Kubiak learned about the rally during his weekly news conference Monday, according to the report.

"It's part of my job, and I understand that," he said, according to the report. "I came here to win games and do a job to win games. That's what Bob [McNair] pays me to do. It's not a lack of effort and work, and it won't be this week, neither. So, I'm OK with all that."

Fox is officially out:

Quote:
CHARLOTTE -- The Carolina Panthers announced Friday that the contracts of head coach John Fox, coordinators Ron Meeks and Jeff Davidson and the rest of the coaching staff would not be renewed after this season.
Fox has coached the Panthers the last nine seasons, compiling a 73-70 regular season record and a 78-73 record overall through last week’s game at Pittsburgh.
"I told John today that I appreciate everything he has done for us over the last nine years, but as happens in this business, it is time for both sides to move in different directions,” said Owner/Founder Jerry Richardson in a statement. “While we haven’t accomplished all of the goals we set as an organization when we signed him in 2002, we have certainly had our share of high moments – the Super Bowl, two NFC Championship games, and a division title in 2008. We wish John and his family the best going forward.”

Fox will conclude his Carolina coaching career Sunday when the Panthers close the regular season at Atlanta, the team announced.
“I appreciate the opportunity Mr. Richardson gave me to be a head coach in the National Football League nine years ago and to be a part of this organization,” said Fox. “I have formed many close relationships and I have many great memories. I particularly want to thank the players for their efforts throughout the years. Working with so many great people has been a rewarding experience.”
Although he's heard the persistent rumors about Fox's future in Carolina coming to an end, cornerback Captain Munnerlyn said hearing the news officially come from the Panthers was "shocking." He said Fox never talked about the decision after Friday's practice, saying the focus was all on beating the Falcons on Sunday.
"It's sad, and it kind of hurts, too," Munnerlyn said of the news. "These are the guys who have been coaching me since I came into the league last year, so you get close to them. It makes me sad to see them go. But I guess the owner and the general manager are trying to make this team better so we have to put our faith in them."
Munnerlyn said he thinks Meeks has done a "great job" over the past two seasons.
"I feel like our defense has been up and down but I think we played well overall," Munnerlyn said. "But if we have to learn a new system next year we will."
Tight end Dante Rosario said the news is "tough to swallow."
"I've been around this staff since I came here (in 2007)," Rosario said. "They are the ones who recruited me, so it's difficult to see them go. It's not an easy thing to take."
Rosario said he'll remember Fox as a great coach, a man well liked by the men he leads.
"He's a player's coach," Rosario said. "He's a guy that you want to play your best for. He makes the game of football fun. Everyone talkes about how much of a business this is, but he's been a guy who always cared about his players. I'll miss him."
Cornerback Richard Marshall said earlier this week that playing for Fox for five seasons has been “a great experience.”
“These five years have been great, a coach that really cares, a coach that wouldn't give up on you,” Marshall said. “You could go and talk to him about anything. He's a player's coach. He takes care of his guys. Sometimes he would even throw himself under the bus to take care of his players. That's something that a lot of players respect. He would never throw you under the bus or put you out there saying you did something wrong. He always took the blame for it.”
Offensive tackle Jordan Gross, one of the longest tenured players on the roster, said earlier this week that reality had set in regarding Fox's future.
And, he said, Carolina's mission on Sunday against the Falcons is simple.
"This game means a lot to the Falcons and it means a lot to us,” Gross said. “We haven't had a lot of games that had a lot of weight on them and this is one that does. So it'll be fun to go out there and give it our best and, if we win, send out Fox on a high note.”

YOU want a new HC who doesn't get to meet with the team until the start of the season, if a lockout happens.

To be honest, this is by far the most criticism Jeff Fisher has gotten during his 16 or 17 year reign, however long it is. I know there's some people who have said he's overrated all along and what not, but I'm talking about the bigger picture with the media, etc. It'll be interesting to see how he performs after all this. If they bounce back and have a great season, good for him.

What I'm saying is, I guess, that he probably hasn't been as worried about his job and his comfort level is definitely not as high anymore. This could have an impact on how he does in the near future and maybe the Titans are willing to gamble on that, especially with the potential lockout coming, this wasn't all that bad of a decision on Tennessee's part as people are gonna make it sound.
