I can't wait for the day Cassel is gone. I await that day just a little bit less than when Cassel looks like a QB as good as his pay rate.

But there's no way I would say he hasn't earned a shot this year, and there's no way I would play Stanzi over him with the choice.

Stanzi needs to sit and learn. If Cassel sucks this year we can discuss the merit of handing the team to a 5th round pick, or if we should draft a QB high if given the chance. OR maybe Cassel will improve and will look like a guy we could win some playoff games with....

honest to god if it was stanzi out there today instead of palko and they played the exact same way, ppl would have said stanzi played a gritty game and the interceptions weren't his fault
