Ok, a few things:

I ****ING LOVE OUR LINEBACKERS!

I'm loving the way Houston is progressing. I hate to get too excited over one game against a shitty QB, but he was playing like a man possessed last Sunday. Not only was he impressive rushing the passer, but I was surprised at how well he played against the run. On those stretch plays he does a great job of holding his ground and keeping contain, then shedding the block at just the right time to make the play. I remember a few plays from Sunday watching him on the edge knowing for a fact Studebaker would have given up a big gainer where Houston stopped the play for no gain or just a couple.

DJ is a ****ing animal. At everything. Every aspect of linebacker-ship, he gets an A grade from me right now. I'd take him over any LB in the league right now, not named Pat Willis.

Belcher is kind of a stud too. I love that he's such a thumper. With Hali and Houston bringing on the heat and DJ running around like a pirate ninja on steroids, I feel like we need that guy like Belcher to, as FAX said earlier, "clean up the trash". Surely he's "made" a lot more plays than the stat sheets show just by blowing up a lead block.

Tamba is Tamba. Still the man. I love that he's such a QB stalker rapist, and he's pretty much our only consistent pressure guy, but I don't like that gif where DJ hurt Forte. Tamba throws lineman around like ragdolls in pass protection, I want him to show some of that nastiness in the ground game. Use that bull rush and those hands to slap him off you, make a stop in the backfield. I'm kind of nitpicking, but that's something I wouldn't mind seeing from him.

I could only hear this song while watching those gifs. Would make good background music for a DJ highlight video!

Belcher does exactly what he is supposed to do in the sheme the Chiefs play. He's not great in pass coverage but he's 24 ****ing years old. Give the guy some time.

Number two is a classic DJ move. Go low through the block and penetrate to the runner. I think it's safe to say, he's got that technique down.

That technique is the Bear Crawl. Learned it in middle school football.

Haha.

These GIFs are awesome and seeing Houston progress is fun as hell. All I can think about is how good a healthy Chiefs team would be with a QB and how much we just have to pray that our GM even feels that way.
