JFC. No, the Packers do not. Do you know anything about football? You realize that the 3-4 isn't a bend/prevent scheme? The Packers actually run a fire-zone based, blitz oriented 3-4 with their 2-3-6 package as their most often used package. They don't try to play bend/break, it was a byproduct of how poor they were defensively last year. Watch that defense play on in 2010 and you'll be shocked. They also use a 1-gapping NT.

The 3-4 is not a bend/prevent scheme, you ****ing idiot.

Cassel doesn't have to be Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees for the Chiefs to be contenders. All he has to do is be the Matt Cassel of 2010. If he throws 27 TD passes with only 7 interceptions, the Chiefs are a shoo-in for the playoffs, and they'll win the AFC West.

I know that's a bitter pill for the majority of Chiefsplanet football "experts" to swallow, but it's a fact.

This team concept is built on "not beating ourselves with mistakes" using systems that compliment this concept.

The Packers used a "bend don't break/prevent defense" which is the same defense the Chiefs use -- the 34 defense. When they got beat by the Chiefs last season, it happened because the Chiefs didn't make mistakes.

Orton led the team to a "mistake free" win that day. The defense played very well too, but they did not outscore the packers. The Chiefs defense did not score points during that game.

Dwayne Bowe caught 4 passes for 49 yards during Orton's 300 passing day.
Where's that list of Bowe's crucial dropped passes?

No pass rush. You need to think again. Hali and Houston will provide us with pass rush.
I doubt that we will truely contend for the SB but nobody would of thought the 49ers would of made it to the NFC Championship game last year either. They would of defeated the NYG if it weren't for 2 fluke special team fumbles.
The 9ers lost that NFC Championship game because Alex Smith was 1 for 13 in third down situations.

That 27-7 stat is the most overrrated stat in ****ing history.

Matt Cassel was a mediocre QB then, and he's a mediocre QB now.

I'm assuming, like a lot of people, he blames the drop by Bowe against Indy in '10 for that loss.

There was another drop, last year, by Bowe on a slightly tipped pass.

I can't remember the opponent.

There was also a critical drop on a third down play in a loss to Oakland that would have resulted in a first down late in the game that would have sealed a win.
